Beloved teen detective Nancy Drew turns 80 this year! Over the past eight decades, her adventures have spanned novels, games, movies, and a new hit show on the CW. Starring Kennedy McMann as the title character, the series combines classic sleuthing with supernatural scares. For McMann, who grew up reading the books and playing the computer games, landing the role of Nancy is a dream come true. “If you asked me 10 years ago what iconic character I would want to play, I would have said Nancy Drew,” she says.
