By the Numbers: Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts

Now in its third season, the Netflix show Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, where humans live in underground cities called burrows. When Kipo’s burrow is attacked, she finds herself on the surface for the first time. It’s crawling with mutated animals called “mutes.” Many are cute, but not all of them are friendly.“I love Kipo because she’s such a geek, but she’s also a rock star,” says Karen Fukuhara, who voices Kipo. “She’s able to achieve things because she is not afraid to fail.”
